The first term has been a busy time as our toddlers have settled into their new environment. They have learned new and exciting things and are looking forward to hosting parents and grandparents to a Christmas Tea on December 15th.

The Casa Students have had busy first term. We have gone Apple Picking, visited the Pumpkin Patch and the senior students had fun at the Science Centre. We have participated in the Terry Fox Run and raised money for Breast Cancer. We are now participating in the Christmas Food Drive so more people will have a happy holiday season. We had a Remembrance Day Ceremony and remembered soldiers both past and present. We have had many new adventures and learned new skills. We have made new friends and discovered new talents. We are now busy rehearsing for our Winter Pageant and look forward to performing for our families.

We have had many exciting changes in the Elementary School this year, not least the addition of bright links in each classroom. This interactive technology enables students to actively participate in the learning process. The “Bit Strips” program has been a big hit with the older and younger students alike. We have visited the Toronto Zoo and the Science Centre. In October, senior students spent a week at Mansfield Outdoor Education Centre.
