Social Studies - Grade 1-5 ACCELERATED JUNIOR PROGRAM
Our Social Studies program provides students with a deep understanding of history, geography, and global issues by combining traditional learning with hands-on, project-based exploration. Our History and Geography program fosters a deep understanding of Canada’s past, global connections, and the impact of geography on societies. Through a blend of traditional learning and project-based exploration, students engage in real-world investigations, enhancing critical thinking, research, and analytical skills. In history, students examine key social, political, and economic developments that have shaped Canada’s identity. In geography, they explore human-environment interactions, global sustainability, and settlement patterns to understand the challenges and opportunities of a changing world. Through debates, simulations, and hands-on projects, students develop problem-solving skills, global awareness, and the ability to assess historical and geographical issues with depth and perspective.
