Physical education, health and well-being
At Wishing Well Schools, our Physical Education, Health, and Well-Being program builds strength, confidence, and resilience through active living and teamwork. Students participate in a wide range of sports, fitness, and outdoor experiences that promote physical literacy, coordination, and a lifelong appreciation for healthy living.
From daily physical activity to our six-week ski program, students learn discipline, balance, and perseverance. Older students extend their experience through an overnight ski trip at our Quiet Waters Outdoor Education Centre, combining physical challenge with outdoor adventure and leadership.
As members of the Small Schools Athletic Federation (SSAF), students have the opportunity to compete with other private schools, developing sportsmanship and school spirit. Our holistic approach connects fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being, helping every student cultivate the confidence, focus, and healthy habits needed for success both on and off the field.
